This is my very first blog! I am not sure what has led me to do this - all know is I am nervous and excited at the same time.
One of my favorite things to do is work in my visual journals. My pages are a mixture of painting, stamping, collage, and text.It is a place I go to find me and attempt to listen to my souls needs. It is a place where I visit my pain and confusion and remember life's joys and accomplishments. It is a place of homecoming.
Funny, just a little under 5 years ago I would not have been caught dead or alive recording anything about my life much less share it with the world, yet here I am doing just that. Hopefully I will not live to regret this.
I wonder what my life or others' lives will look like to the anthropologists or archaeologists of the future. Instead of digging up bones and ancient ruins one grain of sand at a time they will be sifting through a plethora of indulgent ramblings posted by millions of people from all over the world. How very interesting and hopefully not so boring.

How will I utilize my blog? Good question. For right now I think I will use this time and space to share my journal entries as a way to search for deeper meaning in my work. Indulgent? Yes. I am really looking forward to the journey so let's see what tomorrow brings.
