While meditating on my way to work this morning (don't worry, I am really good at multitasking at 6:00 a.m on a country road), I started to think of things I wanted to change. The first thing to come to mind was I wanted to learn to be more grateful oriented. When I put an idea out there I always look for signs to validate my intentions. First off I read Traci Bunkers email from one of my yahoo groups and it had a "I am grateful..." prompt for visual journaling. Ahh ha! If that wasn't enough to persuade me I was on the right track the picture of my office on the left did. My van was parked right next to that silver car you see and it did not get a scratch. The bad news mother nature took out 4 other cars and the good news is it missed the building and no one was hurt. So... I am grateful for having a car I can meditate in, a body that functions better then some, wonderful friends and family, food on the table this week, a roof over my head, my art, and opportunity to change whatever is not working.
